Our Record

In 1989, he represented clients who had been affected by the tragic 1989 Phillips explosion, which killed 23 workers and injured hundreds more. Since then, he has helped represent victims of every major plant explosion in the Texas Gulf area.

In 2005, John Eddie took on BP following the Texas City refinery explosion that left 15 dead and hundreds more injured. His tireless work on the victims’ behalf resulted in settlements for all 150 of his clients, compensating them for medical costs, lost wages, and counseling.

Steve J. Kherhker – Williams Kherkher

Steven J. Kherkher - Williams KherkherSteven J. Kherker grew up in Houston, Texas and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston. He later went on to receive his law degree from the South Texas College of Law where he graduated cum laude. Steve is a partner at Williams Kherkher and has headed up some of the firm’s largest dockets, including cases involving fen-phen, Vioxx, and asbestos exposure.

Steve has successfully pursued litigation against large companies like Exxon and Dow Chemical, and his commitment and experience has helped win hundreds of millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements over the past twenty years.

John T. Boundas – Williams Kherkher

John T. Boundas - Williams KherkherJohn graduated first in his class from the University of Iowa College of Law. He was licensed to practice in Texas in 1995 and received the second highest score statewide on the Texas State Bar examination that year.

Following law school, he interned at the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. and was recognized by the Department of Justice for “outstanding” performance. From 1995-1996, he clerked for the Hon. Milton I. Shadur of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in Chicago.

John joined the litigation section of Fulbright & Jaworski, L.L.P. in 1996, where he worked on many different types of litigation matters including securities, antitrust, trademark, breach of contract and personal injury litigation. He joined Williams Kherkher Law Firm, L.L.P. in 2001 and has represented clients in a variety of personal injury cases. Most recently, he has represented numerous individuals injured by the prescription drugs fen-phen and Vioxx.

John has tried jury trials in Texas, California, Louisiana and Pennsylvania courts. He has also handled appeals, including arguing at the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. In addition, he has done significant pro bono work, trying three civil rights cases in Federal District Court in Houston, Texas.

He currently focuses his practice on representing individuals in complex mass tort cases.

John is a cancer survivor.

Armi Easterby – Williams Kherkher

Armi Easterby - Williams KherkherArmi Easterby is a commercial trial lawyer who manages the commercial & consumer litigation section at the Williams Kherkher Law Firm. Armi’s practice includes environmental cases (including cases relating to environmental contamination from MTBE, PCB, and lead), and other property damage cases throughout the United States.

Armi graduated cum laude from the University of Houston Law Center in 1996, and was also an Associate Editor on the Houston Law Review. Armi also served a director on the Houston Law Review’s Alumni Board of Directors for several years, and is a member of the American Association for Justice and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.

Margret LeCocke – Williams Kherkher

Margret Lecocke - Williams KherkherA graduate of the University of Houston Law Center, Margret Lecocke has already amassed a wealth of experience representing victims of plant explosions. She has personally handled a diverse array of personal injury cases, taking cases from the earliest stages and bringing them to trial.

Margret took the lead on Williams Kherkher’s Avandia docket, representing over 200 clients who had been injured as a result of taking the anti-diabetic drug. She has also been instrumental in arbitrating labor and employment cases, and can read and comprehend Spanish.

Margret brings a strong work ethic and a compassionate personality to every case she handles.

W. Perry Zivley, Jr. – Chandler, Mathis & Zivley, PC

W. Perry Zivley - Chandler, Mathis & Zivley, PCW. Perry Zivley, Jr., is a Texas trial lawyer and a native Houstonian. He graduated from Southwestern University, Georgetown, Texas in 1983 with a BBA in Finance and obtained a legal degree from South Texas College of Law in 1986. He was licensed by the State Bar of Texas in November 1986 and is currently licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and in all Federal District Courts in Texas.

W. Perry Zivley, Jr., joined Chandler Law Offices in May 2007 when the Houston office was established. He handles a wide variety of civil litigation matters including personal injury, probate litigation, oil & gas litigation, business and commercial litigation and insurance litigation. He has had over $100,000,000.00 awarded to his clients by Texas juries.
