The Attorney General of Alabama has sent a letter to the administrator of the Gulf Coast Claims Facility, Kenneth Feinberg, stating that processing the oil spill claims is taking too long.
The ag stated that the GCCF has taken a long time to pay out the claims so that the victims become too desperate and settle for an amount lower than they should.
He also reminded the people of Alabama that April 20 is the deadline to file a claim in the court litigation against the owner of the Deepwater Horizon, Transocean.
