Why do I need a lawyer?
The CSSP was created by lawyers, and BP will have lawyers, accountants, and other experts on their payroll reviewing your claim. The class action settlement is a complex legal document, and the damage calculations are complex and require expertise in generally-accepted accounting principles and business losses in general. We understand people prefer to not have to hire lawyers, but in this scenario attempting to go it alone would be a good example of being penny-wise and pound-foolish.
