The governor of Alabama has said that he has reassurance from Kenneth Feinberg that there will be improvements made to the Gulf Coast claims process.

These improvements will be put into place so that the outstanding claims filed by Alabamians as a result of the oil spill last year will be reviewed.

The Gulf Coast Claims Facility will make sure that the claims filed by victims in Alabama are reviewed, processed and paid in a timely manner. There will be three accounting firms to help with the process.
