Florida’s economy suffers from spill

Posted on July 2nd, 2010 No Comments

The economical cost of the oil spill could cost Florida $10 billion and 195,000 jobs to Florida citizens.

Economists from the University of Florida have determined that the tourism in Florida will be cut in half and no one knows when or if the oil will spill onto the beach.

If the situation on the beach does not improve and tourists are not scared to visit, hotels in Florida may take a significant blow. Also, it is unsure how many counties will be affected by the oil spill therefore the amount of revenue that will be lost from the economy can not be determined.

If you or a loved one has had property destroyed by the oil spill or your way of living has been disrupted, contact the Gulf oil spill property damage lawyers of Williams Hart by calling 800-821-1544.
