GCCF to look over nearly 300,000 denied claims

Posted on February 16th, 2011 No Comments

The Gulf Coast Claims Facility has paid nearly 180,000 claims while going through the emergency claims process, but nearly 300,000 claims were denied.

Pressure from the government has the claims processing group looking over the denied claims because many of them were put into a category that deemed them indirectly affected by the oil spill.

Claims that were denied include those in the real estate market and professionals such as doctors and lawyers. Many of these people are now resubmitting claims and hoping that they will not get denied this time because their business has affected their income significantly and they are seeking compensation.

If you have been denied an oil spill claim, you need experienced representation on your side in order to help you resubmit a claim. Contact the Gulf oil spill lawyers of Williams Hart by calling 800-821-1544 today.
