Oil spill claims adjuster speaks out

A man that was a former claims adjuster for BP is now speaking out about the complicated and slow claims process associated with the Gulf Coast Claims Facility.

The man was working with the Gulf Coast Claims Facility claims process and he is now stepping up to help others file their claims through the group. The man was brought in last summer as a certified claims adjuster to handle the process, but said that things changed when the GCCF came in.

The man is meeting with people to make sure that they have all the right papers because a figure was released saying that nearly 80 percent of claims will be denied for not having the right documentation.
