Some question whether the BP oil spill cleanup ended too soon

Posted on September 23rd, 2010 No Comments

Although everyone is happy that the well that was responsible for the massive oil leak into the Gulf of Mexico is now closed, some clean up crew members that were hired by BP think that there is still work to be done.

On August 25, the hundreds of crew members that were working to clean up the oil spill were told that there services were no longer needed. One worker said that if you dug down four to six inches you could find chunks of oil, but that you were not supposed to do that because you would be at risk at contaminating needles. Many think that there is still work to be done and worry that if it is not done it will have a negative effect on residents and businesses.
